| Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed is the next game in the
series of awesome NFS suite. Unlike the previous versions, this game
focuses specifically on one carmaker. In fact, the entire history of
porsche is contained in this game, dating all the way back to the 1950's.
There are three different types of gameplay. In the Evolution Gameplay,
you start out with Porsche's first car ever made, the 356. From there, you
must win races to earn money to buy more cars. The more races you win, the
more money you get and the newer the cars that are available. In the
Factory Driver Gameplay, you are a test driver for the Porsche
manufacturers. You must prove yourself along the way to show that you can
handle the powerful Porsche in difficult circumstances before you can
advance in your training and permissions to drive whatever you want. The
Single Race gameplay is pretty much the same as the other NFS games in
that you can choose any car on any track and race the track once. There is
a multiplayer function in the game as well so that you can test your
skills against a friend. Overall, the game is really awesome. From the
screenshots above, you can tell that the graphics are totally amazing.
They're much better than any of the previous NFS games. The AI is
challenging, and from my understanding, the most recent patch makes them
even tougher. The physics in the game is the most realistic I've seen yet.
Each individual car has been given intricate detail visually as well as
physics in handling, braking, acceleration, etc. The cars behave the way a
real Porsche would out on the road. I would rate the game 9/10. I highly recommend you go out and buy the game and
waste countless hours proving to yourself that you can handle the powerful
Porsche. |
